I am fully licensed and certified ASHI home inspector. I have over 35 years in the home construction and inspection trades. ASHI certification requires extensive testing, peer review and senior inspector review. Membership is subject to revocation for violation of any of the "Standards of Practice"
My profession is evaluating the condition and quality of homes. My evaluations are based on years of training, practical experience and skills learned thru the building trades. My training and background encompasses the full range of home construction. I have inspected over 7,000 homes in the last 12 years throughout the greater Kansas City Metro area.
Recently it was my pleasure to inspect a home built by S&T Enterprises. This was not a builders home or a custom designed home. It represented a standard tract home. S&T has not influenced me or my opinion, nor offered any reward for favorable findings. These findings are of my own accord and completely independent of all outside influences.
The quality of this home is impressive. The planning and design of the home have created a living space that makes the most of the available room without making someone feel cramped. The openness and brightness of the home make you want to stop and take in the "View". The contrast between open vaulted ceilings and private nooks makes it a home that will meet everyone's needs. The layout is thoughtful and practical. Everything is where you would expect to find it. There is no wasted space or motion in this home.
The quality of construction is remarkable. This is not only the foundation, walls and roof. Its the little things like placing the switches, latches and smoke alarms where they belong. The smallest details, from the wire clamp below the disposal to the foundation being solid and free of cracks and flaws that make this an impressive home. The wiring panel, which is usually a nightmare, was flawless. Not only was the wiring correct, but it appeared that an artist, not an electrician had wired the home. The wiring was sized properly and circuits were well planned and functional. Beyond this, every bend in every wire was constant, even and precise. There was a flow of wire from the house into the breaker panel, gone was the usual rat's nest of twisted wiring and problems. To take the cover off at the main panel and look at the electrical system was like an artist traveling to the Louve and seeing the purist form of art. The HVAC system was sized and installed professionally. In addition to this , the quality of the components used was outstanding. None of the usual "Builders Grade" appliances are used. Each and every nuance of the home reflected only the highest level of quality and workmanship.
It is my professional opioion that the homes built by S&T Enterprises are of the highest quality of any home built, ever. A wise investor, intent on protecting his assets and family would be well advised to purchase a quality S&T home.

Briefly, I would like to let you know how much I appreciate the gracious treatment I have received from your employees since I first decided to purchase my home in Sonora Valley.
Marvin and Larry, have been so pleasant, helpful and have made me feel so welcome since the beginning. Both have gone out of thier way to answer my questions, before I moved and since, and have done things that I am sure they are not required to do. They are both real gentlemen. I consider them my freinds now, and am glad to be acquainted with both of them. They have made me feel free to call on them, which I have done several times already. I compliment you on your choice of employees. They are so well qualified as well as the other attributes mentioned above.
I would like to mention also, how informative and cordial Belinda and Becky have been. They too, are a compliment to S & T.
I truly love my new home in Sonora and look foreward to showing it to my friends and family.

S&T Went Above & Beyond... - Tammy M. of Blue Springs
Over a year ago, my husband and I decided to build our first home. We met with S & T Enterprises and were impressed with their professionalism, quality of work, and strong desire to please their customer. We wanted to feel involved in the entire building process, and we were looking for a builder with who we could have a good relationship and feel comfortable communicating with so that we could all work together to obtain the final outcome: a home "custom fit" to our family where we could grow and establish many memories.
S & T met our expectations and more. They went above and beyond and did things that really made a difference to us. For example, they worked with us on completing our basement prior to closing. We were assigned a Superintendent who was always readily available and responsive to our questions. We realize that when dealing with construction, sometimes things are going to happen that are out of anyone's control. However, anytime we had a question or problem, it was taken care of immediately and handled professionally.
We found S & T to be an ethical builder with high standards and expectations as demonstrated by good people who do good work.

A persons home is such a private issue, but your entire staff has been so congenial to Eunice and I in our "big" move to Sonora Valley that we feel very settled and content.
We're not ones that move often, as we lived in our past home for 35 years.
